I'm kind of a Mother's Day scrooge because I think its a fake holiday invented by Hallmark that people make into a big deal. As my wonderful mother would say "every day is Mother's Day in our house". (Side note, she also used to say every day is Christmas which I did not like so much because it seemed like a lame excuse to get fewer presents but I'll let that one slide).
Either way its now my life goal not to turn Mother's Day into a big ordeal at our house. With that said, there is one thing I will do every year which is a quick photo shoot with my baby(ies). I think it would be really cool to do it in the same spot every year to see how the pictures change over the years. Townsend took some great pictures that I will cherish forever... maybe Mother's Day isn't so bad after all :)
