This was such a fun, unique wedding to shoot that ended with a very special surprise! Shannon and Erin met through their jobs, started dating, and got engaged less than a year later. Erin proposed in Central Park during a trip to New York City and Shannon was thrilled to say yes! They planned an elegant, low key wedding in Shannon's parents backyard. It was one of the windiest days of the year and looked like the weather may be very rainy but right before the ceremony, the rain cleared up and sun started peaking through the sky for a perfect sunset and lovely evening.
After dinner and socializing with friends, their guests were in for a real surprise! Erin and Shannon cut their wedding cake which doubled as a gender reveal and they found out they are having a baby girl! Celebrations and dancing ensued, the wind only made this party better! It was a beautiful evening for Erin and Shannon.
